A fine miniature George III late 18th century mantle clock with enamel dial and srike/silent dial by this eminent maker. The faded ebonised case with gilt frets tot he side panels, three raised moulded panels and a gilt brass carrying handle to the top, brass feet and a brass moulding to the arched door. The 8 day movement in original form with recoil escapement and rack striking on a bell mounted on the signed plain backplate.
