Sam Aldworth No. 62
An extremely rare 17th century olivewood bracket clock with verge escapement and pull quarter repeat on six bells. The dial with fine hands and gilt winged cherub head spandrels, apertures for false pendulum and calendar, the silvered chapter ring signed, Sam Aldworth in Ye Strand, London. The clock also with strike/silent and a finely engraved backplate.
