E White  No. 300

A fine large 19th century gilt English chronometer carriage clock with original gilding to the case and in a style used and favoured by Dent and is clearly associated with Dent.

The case with an enamel dial and seconds dial set within a gilt engine turned surround and signed, E. White,
20 Cockspur Street, London. The backplate similarly signed behind the shuttered back door.
The 8 day chronometer movement with a large compensated balance wheel and maintaining power.
