A miniature and exquisite 18th century quarter repeating bracket clock in a rare ebony case with engraved fretwork, gilt brass mounts and reeded brass pillars. The movement with verge escapement, quarter repear and a finely engraved backplate. The 3 1/2 inch dial with stike/silent control, the dial centre signed and with apertures for false pendulum and date, the backplate profusely engraved.
