Benjamin Vulliamy  No. 280

A classic 19th Century George III bracket clock by this eminent maker and Clockmaker to King George III. The elegant case with fine gilt engraved fretwork to the door and side panels and standing on brass moulded feet. The movement with half dead heat escapement rack striking, rise/fall and strike/silent dials to the arch and signed between on silvered fan, Vulliamy, Number 665. The plain backplate also signed and numbered.
