A good late 18th century George III ebonised bracket clock by this eminent maker, the break arched case with three raised panels and brass handle to the top, brass moldings and feet. The side panels with fretwork and stamped "W R" IV below a crown. The silvered dial with rise/fall regulation dial to the arch and strike/silent lever below, the dial centre with makers signature and calendar aperture. The 8 day movement with original anchor escapement and rack striking, the backplate signed and numbered 315.
