A fine and small late 18th century tortoiseshell and ormolu mounted English musical bracket clock by this eminent maker. The movement with 8 day duration and striking the hour and playing the selected dance from a choice of four melodies. The enamel dial and subsidiary dials set within a finely engraved gilt surround and bearing the makers signature which is repeated to the well engraved backplate
