A rare George III inlaid satinwood and painted timepiece mantel clock by the royal clockmaker to the King, the case with gilt mounts to the canted angles and also to the gilt bezel, the top surmounted by a fine decorated finial. The enamel dial with roman numerals and outer arabic and fine gilt hands. The 8 day movement with anchor escapement, a long ebony rod pendulum with large gilt bob and a finely engraved signed backplate.
