John Ellicott No. 120 SOLD
A fine 18th century George III mahogany bracket clock with enamel dial and superb gilt bronze mounts and standing on an original wall bracket with key drawer. The substantial three train quarter striking movement striking the quarters on eight bells and with verge escapement and a finely engraved signed backplate. The circular signed enamel dial with fine hands and set withing a square brass plate which contains a strke/silent lever and is revealed when the door opens.
