Eardley Norton No. 119
A good 18th century mahogany George III striking bracket clock with verge escapeemnt and hour repeat. The dial signed and numbered 1491, the signature, Yeldrea Norton, London, used on clocks made for export, engraved on a silvered cartouche to the centre. The engraved backplate also numbered 1491.
